Great torch for only £7.99 from my local DIY store. Almost as good as my LED Lensar Police Tech torch, but only 1/3 of the price. Well made and much better quality that those of a similar price from Hong Kong.

What a find! A superb pocket sized tool for elevated structural inspection work from ground level, especially the focused beam. My spacebeam torch is now old tat. Would recommend this torch to all.

Quite literally brilliant. I can't imagine why anyone would want an old technology incandescent torch any more. Good build quality & price.

As a police officer I was looking for a compact yet powerful torch....this didn't disappoint!! Great value and performance. I now have one for work, one for home and bought one as a present and I'm sure to buy more! Well done lighthouse.

Me and a few friends have bought some of these to use as lamps for our air rifles...all we can say brill and so cheap. Thanks Lighthouse.

In my opinion this is the best all round torch I have come across for general Police use. Cheap to buy, compact and lightweight with fantastic light output. It uses inexpensive AAA batteries and they last for ages.

Colleagues regularly ask where they can get one when they see it perform next to their more expensive items.

Good work

I have used this torch for around 18 months. I use it most nights at work as a member of the emergency services. Considering its extremely small size the power of the beam is phenomenal. I replaced a bulky 3d cell maglight with it. Its well built, feels robust and has never let me down.

Nice to use. It would be better if it can be charged directly.

I have three of these torches all over three years old. They are small, very powerful and give excellent battery life. Overall build quality is excellent thanks to an all aluminium body.\r\nIf you\'re looking for a good, reasonably priced torch to light up your life these are hard to beat.

IP RATINGS

The IP (Ingress Protection) code indicates how well a device is protected against water and dust. This is defined by the international standard EN 60529.

First Digit
Solids
(intrusion protection)
Second Digit
Water
(moisture protection)
0(or X - see section below): No special protection. Not rated (or no rating supplied) for protection against ingress of this type. 0(or X - see section below): No protection.
1Protection from a large part of the body such as a hand (but no protection from deliberate access); from solid objects greater than 50mm in diameter. 1Protection against vertically falling droplets, such as condensation. ensuring that no damage or interrupted functioning of components will be incurred when an item is upright.
2Protection against fingers or other object not greater than 80mm in length and 12mm in diameter (accidental finger contact). 2Protection against water droplets deflected up to 15° from vertical
3Protection from entry by tools, wires etc, with a diameter of 2.5 mm or more. 3Protected against spray up to 60° from vertical.
4Protection against solid objects larger than 1mm (wires, nails, screws, larger insects and other potentially invasive small objects such as tools/small etc). 4Protected against water splashes from all directions. Tested for a minimum of 10 minutes with an oscillating spray (limited ingress permitted with no harmful effects).
5Partial protection against dust that may harm equipment. 5Protection against low-pressure jets (6.3 mm) of directed water from any angle (limited ingress permitted with no harmful effects).
6Totally dust tight. Full protection against dust and other particulates, including a vacuum seal, tested against continuous airflow. 6Protection against direct high pressure jets.
7Protection against full immersion for up to 30 minutes at depths between 15 cm and 1 metre (limited ingress permitted with no harmful effects).
8Protection against extended immersion under higher pressure (i.e. greater depths). Precise parameters of this test will be set and advertised by the manufacturer and may include additional factors such as temperature fluctuations and flow rates, depending on equipment type.
9KProtection against high-pressure, high-temperature jet sprays, wash-downs or steam-cleaning procedures - this rating is most often seen in specific road vehicle applications (standard ISO 20653:2013 Road Vehicles - Degrees of protection).
