Oardinary Buoys back on dry land
Congratulations to the Oardinary Buoys, who have successfully completed their transatlantic rowing journey, arriving safely on dry land after 41 days, 13 hours, and 3 minutes at sea. The team finished 2nd in their class and 8th overall among 38 teams.
The Oardinary Buoys, made up of Teacher Dafydd Helps-Fursse, Royal Engineer Richard Wilkinson, and Competitive Rower Scott Brown, faced towering waves of up to 20ft and expended over 5000 calories per day. Throughout their voyage, the Oardinary Buoys rowed tirelessly day and night. They encountered marine wildlife, including whales and dolphins, and celebrated a birthday, Christmas, and the New Year aboard their three-man vessel.
